Rob’s Full Position Statements

The following positions were provided in response to a public policy questionnaire. In the interest of transparency and respectful public dialogue, these responses reflect Rob’s personal views on a range of social, educational, and fiscal policy issues. Rob believes voters deserve to know exactly where he stands — even on topics where reasonable people disagree.

Secular Government

Government should serve people of all faiths and beliefs equally. Public policy should be made within a secular framework and not determined by religious doctrine.

Reproductive Healthcare

Individuals have the right to make their own reproductive health decisions, including access to safe and legal abortion. These decisions should be made by patients in consultation with healthcare providers, not dictated by the government.

LGBTQ+ Equality

Full equality and legal protections for LGBTQ+ individuals are essential, including the rights of transgender people to live openly, safely, and with dignity. Public policy should protect against discrimination and ensure equal access to healthcare, housing, education, and employment.

Transparent Public Education

Public school curriculum should be transparent and readily accessible for parents and guardians to review. Education should be evidence-based and rooted in civic values, without promoting religious doctrine, so schools remain welcoming to students of all faiths and none.

Fiscal Responsibility and Transparency

Government must be transparent and accountable in how public funds are allocated and used. New taxes or tax increases should only be considered when there is clear detail about spending plans, measurable outcomes, and strong public oversight.

Constitutional Rights

Full support for the rights guaranteed under the First Amendment, including freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, and the right to petition the government.
